Pecan Chocolate Brownies

These are a bit of a game-changer. Gooey brownies which a pecan surprise. Also, the recipe is very easy and there are no scary vegan ingredients that some recipes. Perfect afternoon treat or with ice cream as dessert.


Dry and Wet ingredients



  • 1 cup Plain Flour
  • 1 cup Caster Sugar
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • Pinch of Salt
  • 1/2 cup Cocoa Powder
  • 1 cup of water
  • 100ml melted coconut oil
  • Pecans
  • Chocolate chips


Mixture w/ pecans and chocolate chips



  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees
  2. Mix together your dry ingredients
  3. Mix together the wet ingredients
  4. Mix the wet and dry together
  5. Add chopped pecans and chocolate chips
  6. Pour into a pre-greased baking tray
  7. Place pecans on the top
  8. Bake for 15 mins for the gooey centre and 18 mins for a more cakey texture
